    Description

I'm Nicci, I live with my husband Kim and our two children 9 and 6 years old. We are a "crunchy" family who lives in the forest. Prepping and living both modern and the old way. Open minded DIY:ers who have many things going on at the same time. You could say organized kaos! One dog and four cats. All other farm animals have moved out or been slaughter since we feel like we need to put our time on our house and our land.

with us, we are educated in building, holistic and Chinese medicine and massage. exchange of experiences of course! Or if you want to learn or get a treatment. we live in the middle of Skåne, Sweden's southernmost region. easy to travel by train from the village. approx. 1.5 h to Copenhagen, Denmark, 1 h to Malmö. You can also use our car if you want take a day trip somewhere. Around the village, Höör, is a lot of mixed people, many are open to exchanging experiences, meeting and more. We speak Swedish and English. But English is a good practice since not all of us speak very good. Our daughter who is in 3 grade has just begun learning. Besides more knowledge about gardening and old building maintenance, we wish to learn more about other cultures food, spirituality, history and maybe language!

we live in an old cabin in the forest that we bought two years ago. the house had only been used as a summer cottage and the forest had grown again. so there is plenty to do. priority this year is to remove the outermost layer of the roof, insulate and lay a new roof. we think sedum roof. in addition to that, we are thinking of greenhouses made of recycled material. arrange more perennial edible plants. clearing the forest, building a hut, sawing trees, building fences, making more flower beds. depending on when you come, maybe a little help with the children to pick them up from school. there are lots of little things to do here, we are very spontaneous and impulsive and love to discuss ideas. one thing I really want to do this year is a treenet, will try to learn. or maybe you know how to do it? If you are a handy person, are good at gardening, sewing, knitting, cocking, baking gluten free or just a creative person. I think we could have fun together.

    Accommodation

Since we live in a small cabin we do not have place in the house for a private room to offer you. We have place for you but not a whole private room. The best is if you drive here in your own van or with a caravan. We are looking for a caravan, but I can't garuantee that we will get one before summer. We will set you up so you will have your own place in the forest. Close to the house and a outhouse.
Regular toilet and shower are inside the house wich you will of course have free use of.
