Description
We run a ryokan, restaurant and bar in Nozawaonsen. Have have basic summer maintenance work for the next few months at a few different venues around the village. We welcome workers who would like to learn about Japanese culture and language.
Please note we only accept workaway members with a valid Working Holiday Visa for Japan.

A stay with us in Nozawa Onsen will give you an opportunity to learn about Japanese culture, food and language. You will get to enjoy a traditional Japanese onsen village which is famous for its 13 free public onsens. Other cultural experiences include the shrine precinct, outdoor cooking onsen and the village's traditional festivals.

Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage
This host offers accommodation and payment.

Help
We need help with many different types of general maintenance tasks, including gardening, painting, carpentry work and general cleaning.
We run several accommodation venues that need help with housekeeping.
Working hours are a minimum of 20 hours per week, but for those looking for extra work we can offer up to 40 hours per week.
Minimum stay is 2 weeks (40 hours work).
Pay rate is ¥850 per hour.
Accommodation is supplied free of charge.
Food is not included, although there is a shared kitchen to prepare your own meals.Languages spoken
