We are looking for friendly and experienced helper for our family stud farm.

Experienced with horses and stable work, needs to be able to muck out and handle young ponies and also stallions.
Who is able to work independently as well in teams.
Paid work at minimum wage, € 10.20 per hour, 5 hours, 5 days per week.
Someone who sees where help is needed and is happy to get hands dirty.

We live in a beautiful landscape surrounded by 120 horses. We have 14 stables and always have some horses in for riding. We also stable stallions, so: A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF HORSE HANDLING ESSENTIAL.

If you are an experienced rider you can also ride horses with us in your free time...go hacking, hunting, competing...
Experience the Dream Irish horse life....
We have a riding arena, gallops and plenty of land to go hacking. We ride out every day to check on the brood mares and their foals. Plenty opportunity to jump cross country, compete and hunt for a good rider.
You must be a good and safe rider if you wish to ride here as we only have young horses and ponies that need to be ridden by good riders only.
If you contact me I can send you a link to our social media so you can see more photos of our magical farm

About us: Kieran, Cecily and I:
We are a small family living on a wonderful magic farm which is 2o minutes away from the next town; Athlone or Mullingar. We live in a house build in 1820 which is lovely but the stoves need to be lit to keep it warm. Our daughter Cecily is 9 she loves chatting and having a laugh, playing card or board games, teaching tricks to her dogs, riding her little ponies and having friends around. She does not like tidying her toys or clothes...

Sophie is German and an Artist and Landscape Architect, she works from home mostly but also teaches at University in Dublin 2 days a week. When home she rides 3 horses daily. She is also in charge of training and selling the horses that are bred on the farm. She has a firm idea on how the horses are kept, handled and trained.

Kieran is in charge of the brood mares, young stock and stallions. As well as the chicken and the gardening. He is also a passionate cook.
