🌿✨ Seeking Nature-Loving Souls to Join Our Eco-Friendly Sanctuary! ✨🌿

Are you a couple seeking a unique escape nestled in the heart of the French countryside? Look no further! We, a spirited British trio, welcome you to our enchanting haven, steeped in family heritage and natural beauty.

In our vibrant mid-forties, we extend a warm invitation to immerse yourselves in a world of kindness and creativity on our picturesque property. Imagine falling asleep beneath a starlit sky, exploring flourishing woodlands brimming with wildlife by day, and gathering for music and fireside chats by night.

We are a friendly, fun-loving trio deeply connected to our home, eager to share its wonders with kindred spirits. Our sanctuary, Talbérou, is nestled along the Saint-Jacques Compostelle GR652 route and is a part of a Natura 2000 site, home to rare and protected species.

As we embark on a new chapter starting a family, we seek helping hands to nurture and care for our cherished land for a minimum of six months. We are looking for individuals who embrace outdoor living, have a passion for nature, are adept with animals and children, possess gardening skills, and have experience in land maintenance and carpentry.

In exchange for 15 hours of weekly help per person (for a couple), we offer comfortable accommodation in a cozy caravan near the woodlands, complete with electricity & WiFi. You'll have access to an outdoor bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, your own food garden, a wild spa, a roundhouse, and a chill-out space in an open barn. Additionally, bills are included in this arrangement.

Come, join us in weaving a tapestry of shared experiences, growth, and harmony with the land. Your adventure beckons at our doorstep – let's cultivate magic together! 🌟🍃

Our place is nestled amongst beautiful woodland, on the famous world heritage pilgrimage Camino de Santiago’s French route Saint-Jaques. Located in the wine growing region of Bordeaux and close to many charming medieval Bastides. Penne-d’Agenais itself is on the river Lot, a medieval town, whose castle was fortified by Richard the Lionheart. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, including wild swimming, caves, walks and artisan markets. An immersive experience, particularly visiting the artisan markets and the local vineyards. There is also a cultural and language school in the nearby town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot.

Minimum stay two weeks - You'll enjoy good company, round a fire entertainment, three tasty meat/veg/vegan meals a day, trips out, comfortable accommodation; free WiFi; learning massage techniques, permaculture design, nature connection (8 shields model), use of power tools, yoga, woodcraft; access to musical instruments, art materials, sewing machine & many books on permaculture & nature connection; film nights, woodland walks, rest and relaxation amongst wildlife in return for a maximum of 5 hours a day, five days a week.

On days off, Niki will take people on days out.

Fancy immersing yourself in one of the most beautiful regions of France. Help needed to help build the infrastructure based on Permaculture principles for an eco site in the South of France (Lot-et-Garonne).

We are looking for people who can work on their own initiative, are able to use power tools safely and confidently and have experience in woodwork, building and organic gardening. Having a driving licence would be advantageous. NB: We are particularly interested in people with wood working and gardening skills.

There is a lot of scope for people to take on a project and design and build their ideas independently. We have all the machinery and power tools that will enable this to happen.

Please note we have two cats that are quite nervous creatures but keep themselves to themselves. We also have an adorable Australian border collie.
