  • Description

A residential activity centre situated off the beaten track, in a natural bog land setting between Lisdoonvarna and Kilfenora in the North of County Clare at the foot of the Burren.
Close to Kilfenora it has a quiet and secluded atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The centre is a non-profit organisation specializing in alternative/complementary healing therapies, sustainable building techniques and traditional Irish music. The Centre can host 40 guests. Help is welcome with the vegetable garden, establishing a polytunnel, caring for the chickens and developing the surrounding bogland.
We have created a Labyrinth and ongoing cob building and we need help with cutting, splitting and stacking wood for our wood boiler.
Welcoming self motivated people who can use own initiative. We would like 25 hours of help doing various duties.
You will get vegetarian meals, accommodation in hostel or out-buildings, opportunity to meet interesting guests and to participate in some of the workshops that are taking place.

Workawayers will be able to learn about organic vegetable growing , and to learn about sustainable building techniques by helping in the ongoing cob building.

Please book a place well in advance - minimum stay 1 month.
