    Hey ho and Moin! ;)

    First of all:
We prefer to invite workawayers for max. two or three weeks and not longer. Thank you!;)

We live in an old Farminghouse nearby Lübeck and the baltic sea. Our Familymembers are our dog, our two children, Dennis and Anja. Dennis is a passionate vespa-screwdriver and Anja is interested in old farming animalbreeds and permaculture, she also works with one of their dogs (therapiedog). We have in our vegetablegarden one finished raised bed and one which is nearly finished to put on seeds and plants. In the same time we renovate our big, old house. Everything goes slowly right now, because we want to have fun, passion and peace with that work. And with two small children and our jobs we don't manage to finish many projects at the moment ;).
Except for the dog and our two nearly autarkic living cats, wie don't have any animals yet. We're planing to build a chickenstable and our dream is to have sheep one day.
We have some guestsheeps on our grounds this year.

Dennis is working 4 long days a week in Lübeck (and could give you a lift for a daytrip to Lübeck). Anja is most of the time at home and is looking forward to work with you together, as long she is able to do that work with their Babygirl ;).

If you're interested in staying with us, just send a message, we can chat about all the conditions you have and what we can offer you. Maybe there is also something wedidn't think about yet ;).i

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We're looking forward to broaden our horizons, with having different guests from different places. Having a chat about your life and your homeculture. We like to learn new skills, but also show you what we know...maybe you're interrested in learning Stand-Up-Paddeling on one of the Lakes nearby, with us? We like to show how we live and show you our beautiful landscape with people, towns and villages we know.

First of all you have to know that our house and property is our heart- and lifeprojekt. We try to do everything on our own. That's why we need so long time and have such a big To-Do-List, which is never complete causing obligation for workawayers.
In the beginning of the year we make a List for us, what we want to do. And if we don't finish a point, it'll have it's place on the next year List again. Everyone can feel free to choose in which way he or she want's to help us. But maybe there is some point in the list, which someone always wanted to learn or try to do. Than the workawayer is welcome to learn or try to do it with us together and is not forced to work perfect.
All the things we know, we're not able to do, like fixing our roof, we get help from locally paid tradespeople.

So after this long intro comes our To-Do-List for 2025. Maybe there is something in the List which you'ld like to help us with:

In autum and winter we also need help with preparing firewood.

...in the house: renovate a room for the kids (is an urgent point for us)
...in the garden: building raised beds, "tidy up" our wild corners, keep our fruittrees in good condition and pick the fruits from the trees, cut the hedge (every year again and again ;))
...on the house: render one wall (we startet allready)
...building a chickenstable into our very broken old pigstable

...or maybe you have an idea of something on the property or house which needs to be done by you ;).

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have different possibilities to live with us. We have a nice small Guestroom, a really cool old and big Campingtend in the garden or you're lucky and our guestflat is free. In the House we don't have any heater, just ovens (in the guestflat and our livingrooms). We have a big kitchen for cooking together or preparing food on your own. We're happy if everyone feels home with us ;).
Of course, if you want to, you could bring your own tent or campingvan too.

    ATTENTION:
In Wintertime we have problems to offer heated rooms. Because we're not able to heat our flat properly, we usely move to the guestflat in wintertime.

If you bring your autark home with you, we can offer you electricity and wood to make it cosy ;).

If you're interested in staying with us, just send a message, we can chat about all the conditions you have and what we can offer you. Maybe there is also something i didn't think about yet ;).

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Our village is very small and located in farmland and nature. Nearby is a nice forest, which is perfect for a walk. We live in a good area for biketours. Our village is close to Luebeck (13km), which is an old hanseatic city. In Lübeck you can enjoy cultural life and buy eyerything which you don't get in Ahrensbök. Ahrensbök is the next town (8km) and has supermarkets and a pharmacy. The baltic sea is about 17km away from us.
We could borrow you a bike. One kilometer from us is a bus leaving to Luebeck a few times a day. Or we go somewhere together with our car ;). Dennis is working 4 long days a week in Lübeck and could give you a lift.
