This was my first experience with Workaway and it couldn't have been better! Patri and Javi were incredible hosts! They welcomed me to stay in their home for a month and treated me like family! Javi is an excellent cook and Patri was always finding new activities for us to do in the evenings and on the weekends. They were great about coming up
… read more with a work schedule that worked for all of us and always gave me space to choose what activities I wanted to join them on in the afternoons and weekends. They took me everywhere with them and even included me when their family members and friends were in town. Nel is one of the sweetest, most well-behaved kids I have ever met. He is so smart, witty, and funny and it was so fun to play with him in the mornings. We found a great balance of me speaking to Nel in English in the mornings and the family speaking to me in Spanish in the afternoons (as I was eager to practice my Spanish). I am so grateful to have found my 'Spanish family' and am so excited to return again this summer!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
