  Description

  We are a warm, welcoming family of four living in South Surrey, British Columbia. Our family includes two parents and our two children—a 10-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son—who get along wonderfully and bring a lot of positive energy into our home.
  
  Our daughter is very creative and passionate about art, crafts, and making things, while our son enjoys reading, video games, and sports. We also have two small senior dogs who are very low-maintenance and love cuddles more than anything.
  
  We run a small business, and one parent primarily works from a home office, with occasional evenings working out of the home. Our home is active but well-structured, and we value kindness, respect, and a positive environment.
  
  We are looking to welcome someone into our home who feels like part of the family and enjoys spending time with children.

  Help

  We are looking for help with light, day-to-day household tasks and support with our children. We already have a professional cleaning service that comes once or twice a week, so no heavy cleaning is required.
  
  Tasks may include:
  
  Helping with dishes and general tidying
  
  Meal preparation or cooking (we’re flexible and open to different cuisines!)
  
  Preparing snacks and simple meals for the kids
  
  Assisting with keeping the kids organized for school
  
  Spending time with the children (playing, crafts, light supervision)
  
  Occasional babysitting
  
  We order groceries regularly and have no strict dietary requirements, but we are happy to accommodate yours.

  We are an English-speaking household. While we currently only speak English at home, we are very open to learning about other languages and cultures through our Workaway guest.

  Our home has two levels, with shared spaces including a living room, family room, kitchen, office, and laundry area.
  
  If you have a valid driver’s license, you may also have access to an SUV during your free time (when available).
