Hello, travelers. We are Carlos, Clara, and our baby, Esteban, affectionately known as "King Pelican." As a small Peruvian family, we cherish sports, cooking, and the joy of friendship. We are now eagerly seeking cultural exchange opportunities and the chance to welcome new friends into our home.
Carlos is tour guide, ready to unveil the rich tapestry of our city's culture and history. Clara, an obstetrician by profession, delights in sharing her mastery of authentic Peruvian dishes with curious souls like yours.
Our previous needs have shifted have evolved, and we are now in search of volunteers who possess expertise in web development and marketing. Rather than our previous requirements, we now seek individuals passionate about web and digital marketing to collaborate on our tourism experiences project. Your experience and dedication will be crucial in boosting our online presence and crafting effective marketing strategies to reach new heights in the tourism industry.
In exchange for your skills and commitment, we offer an immersive experience in local hospitality and the warmth of familial bonds. Come join our adventure in Cusco and be part of our journey as we work together to create experiences for travellers.
We offer breakfast and 1 shared room with two beds in our apartment that includes, shared bathroom with hot shower, kitchen and WIFI 24 hours
Our home is located in a neighborhood named "Independencia" 15 minutes on foot from the historic center of the city, if you come by taxi from the historic center it will take you 5 minutes.
You will be treated like your Peruvian family with good vibe!

* We can exchange some of Quechua and spanish language.
* Learn about the lifestyle of local people who live in "non-tourist" Cusco.
* You will be able to learn to prepare the traditional Peruvian dish "El ceviche" We love it
*I am a tour guide,therefore we can go for a walk in the city or go on a tour on a free day that we can coordinate and coincide.
* We can go out to share in our free time at some points in the city.

Our english is basic and we are interested to improve it. Also we can teach you spanish. It would be great.
Accommodation
Shared double room (2 single beds)
1 bed for each volunteer.
The room is inside the apartment, where we live.
The accommodattion has wifi.
The bathroom is shared and is located in the living room or common area, it has hot water.
We include breakfast , The schedule would be from 9 am / 5 hours per day / 5 days a week (Mostly on weekends, Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
What else ...
*There are many places to visit in the surroundings, such as the historic center of Cusco, located a 12-minute walk away. Also archaeological inca sites like Temple of the Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, etc.
*The traditional market of San Pedro is close 10 minutes walking.
*The main square of the city also is close 15 minutes walking.
*Cusco is quite bohemian, therefore it has a lot of nightlife.
