I highly reccomend to anyone considering! I stayed with Luana Francesco, Seba and Ale for a month in November, and loved my time with them. They are kind, considerate, warm and welcoming, the kids are adorable and really good boys, I could go on! They truly welcomed me as family, included me in events and meals with their family and friends who
… read more are all very friendly, helped me plan visits and day trips and advised me! They were extremely accommodating and helpful with my travels, and kindly made sure that I became familiar and comfortable with the public transit in Milan/Italy.
They were genuinely interested in my days and my well-being and cared for me like family in all aspects.
The help consists of spending time and playing with the boys in english, which is fun and a pleasure in and of itself because the boys are sweet, kind and funny. You can’t help liking them. And Luana and Francesco are very, very considerate of your time. Spending evenings with them all was a real pleasure.
I also got to taste a miriad of Italian meals! We had pizza nights, piedina nights, cheese night, and lots of various pasta! I ate so many delicious authentic home cooked meals, and they were considerate about what I liked and wanted to try.
They were also very flexible and understanding with my arrival and departure dates.
This stay felt more like visiting family than anything — and odds are, if you go, that is what they will become!
Do not come if you are just looking for a free roof over your head and no social connection; the gem of this stay is getting to know this amazing family.
I don’t think my review even gives justice to the kindness they showed!
Francesco, Luana, Seba and Ale — thank you for welcoming me so warmly! I truly look forward to seeing you again 🙂 Let me know when you come to Canada! ;)
Love,
Fanny

Hannah has been the first workwayer coming to our house, and we have been surprised. In two days she looked to be part of the family, we loved our time together. She helped us every day and every time we asked her. Very helpful in each occasion, we get involved in a nice friendship. She learnt a lot of Italian speaking, our children loved her and

We recommend her to every family who want to have an important help inside and a lovely girl sharing nice time together with.

I stayed with Luana and her family for just short of 2 months and loved every minute of it! From the very beginning they made me feel relaxed and welcomed in to their home. They are one of the kindest families I have ever met, always willing to help in any way possible. Francesco and Luana are very hardworking, honest people and clearly adore
… read more their two little boys. They were both very chatty and it was lovely talking to them about both Italy and England, I learnt a lot from them. The two little boys are really well behaved and full of character, they’re so cheeky and I miss them dearly!
Coming to Italy with limited Italian didn’t prove to be a problem- Luana’s english is excellent from living in London and Francesco’s improved a lot whilst I was there. I did learn a lot of Italian from the help of Luana and the boys and extended family speaking Italian.
The food was also incredible- it was all so healthy and delicious and Luana’s mum’s ragu is the best!
As well as being with the family, one of the key points I enjoyed was being close to Milan- train fares are much cheaper than the Uk and with Luana’s recommendations I visited most of Milan, it’s an easy city to walk around. As a location it’s a great hub to do other trips which I did during my stay including Como, Portofino and Rome.
Altogether I couldn’t recommend this family more to anyone interested. They really are lovely and a very happy family. Everyone you meet from family to friends are so welcoming. My stay in Italy were 2 of the best months of my life made so good by this family.
Grazie Mille Luana, Francesco, Seba e Ale, prometto di visitartete presto!
