Description
We are situated in the village of Lamunin, Tutong district of Brunei (We are in Borneo Island neighbouring to Sarawak & Sabah)
We are easy-going and friendly family running a small garden. The garden is often used for educational purposes by local and international student and other group/tour for various activities as well a place for the nature enthusiast.
We are also hosting various of activities likely farmer market, farm-to-table events and farm cooking classes and its always something to build or repair.
The internet access is very limited, we advise you to buy your own sim card if you require internet connection.
We looking for volunteers who are independent, reliable, energetic and flexible.
You must have a broad mind for cultural differences.

We are looking for people who are keen to set up e.g. a terrace, a small cottage house, creating a small Permaculture garden, building paths to and from structures, providing some creative ideas (painting, decorating) on how to improve the garden.
Some tasks can be extremely strenuous while others may be rather sedentary.
We are open to any ideas, if you have something else you think you can offer please let us know.

You will have your own room. We are cooking regularly our own food coming straight from the garden and community stall.

When ever you have nothing to do or you feel like discovering the near vicinity you are free to get in touch with us and we arrange transport to some beautiful areas around the country. You can see e.g. crocodiles, monkey (proboscis, long tail monkeys etc), monitor lizards, hornbills and many more. We have a great white sand beach in Tutong and a beautiful national park in Temburong. There are plenty of options for you.
