Discover life in a tiny rural village, far from the trappings of city and tourist destinations. Here our family has live for the past 28 years, growing and building our own tranquil Haven.
Our activities are split between recycling and repairing rubbish
and working on a 6 hectare permaculture smallholding with a huge forest garden, and well established ecosystem. The link with nature, our neighbors, and volunteers is an important part of what we do
A big permaculture principal is
Observation and act only after

we return to working on the woods this month, clearing paths, ready to harvest logs and biochar for winter.
Also opening up overgrown drainage ditches and pulling out the last of the pond weeds.
All this work is physically demanding and done at a wet and cold time of year,so would only suit the most resilient of helpers.
Help with serveral tasks would be a appreciated and includes;
Cutting long grass /bracken mulch
Pulling out pond weed
Making woodland paths
We have a spare place for someone who is sociable, but calm and interested in getting involved and perhaps would suit someone wanting to improve their spoken English.
Good luck and have a great workaway experience

How could you not benefit from the Breton way of living?- simple but honest, we have certainly learnt a better way of living and sharing since moving here and raising our family.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Workawayers give a helping hand two or three hours in the morning and after a long lunch break another couple of hours in the afternoon.
The help can be physically demanding as sometimes learning new skills is challenging.
We take good care of you but would also appreciate a hand with the daily chores like the dishes, sweeping up etc.
You may need to bring old clothes, strong shoes, and work gloves.
