    Description

After 30 years of hard work patience and determination building our own tranquil Haven, the results are sublime .
Set in six hectares of forest garden with large ponds and streams, calm and undisturbed by any of the outside world,it is a magnet for wildlife.
We occupy ourselves with enhancing natural succession and only harvest what we need.
Come and be part of this simple understanding of the ecosystem that we are a small portion of.

This would suit someone who is fit and healthy with lots of energy.

Good luck and have a great workaway experience
    Phil and Helen

    WINTER UPDATE
We can host all year,if we you don't mind inclement weather and short day length.when it's cold we keep warm by chopping and stacking firewood, and on dry days there's trees to plant and compost to make. The weather in December and January will be too wet to work on the land,so most of the time work revolves around renovation inside the farmhouse . Anyone with construction experience is more than welcome.
The help can be physically demanding and sometimes learning new skills is challenging.
We take good care of you but would also appreciate a hand with the daily chores like the dishes, sweeping up etc.
You may need to bring old clothes, strong shoes, and work gloves.
