We are a community-run school providing secondary education and vocational skills training to orphans and other children from disadvantaged backgrounds, with an outreach program in the communinites. We.We have over 800 students, both girls and boys, aged between 14 and 20.
We are located in a village, Mukungwe sub county in Masaka District, 85 miles (135 km) south west of the Ugandan capital Kampala.
The school is run on Christian principles, and accepts children regardless of their religion, tribe, ethnicity or political background. Some students come from the nearby slums, while others come from the rural areas, with a few from as far away as Tanzania and Rwanda. There is a mixture of day and boarding students due to the long distance that some have to travel to reach the school.Types of help and learning opportunities
