    Description

We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children, aged 13 and 12 (twins). We love travelling and learning about other cultures, and love cultural exchange.
We live on a farm in North Canterbury New Zealand so we can aim towards a self sustainable living lifestyle.
We breed Beef and sheep and have a wide array of other animals, some pets, some to contribute towards our goal.
We have 5 horses that we enjoy going on treks with.
Luke enjoys smoking meat on the smoker, that we have grown on farm, and when we can, source the fruit and vegetables from our garden. We have a house cow for our dairy products, making our own butter and cheese.
Our own honey bees to add sweetness to any meal.

I am not asking for someone to help with a business activity. It is a way of life, self sustainable living

We have many projects around the property that you can show us your skills, or learning new skills.

    Gardening, maintenance, animal husbandry etc..

We are wanting to brew our own positive microbial fertiliser for our paddocks, and currently run a breeding program for the perfect beef animal for our own consumption, as well as sheep and pigs.

We live close to Hanmer springs, and many fantastic outdoor recreation areas, and ski fields, so a fantastic base for the outdoor enthusiasts.
A great stop for animals lovers.
With a pool to cool down on the hot summer days, and a spa to warm up in on a cold winters day, any time of year is amazing.

We have an extreme climate here, getting up around 40 degrees celcius in summer and below zero overnight in winter, with snow.

Just to reiterate, this is a lifestyle, not a profit making farm.
Any helpers will not be involved in profit making enterprise.
