  Description

  We are open for volunteers in March and April 2025. Would you like to work with us in the garden, help with painting walls and other manual help, with cooking, help out around the house, or even help with a clean-up? We are looking forward to your request. Minimum stay is 2 weeks (preferably 4 weeks).
  
  We are a young community of ten adults and nine children, living in the former seminar center in Emmental, Switzerland, since July 2022. Here, step by step, a holistic, regenerative field of peaceful cultural transformation is emerging. We live this through our educational oasis, our health and healing biotope, permaculture landscaping and communal living. We would like your assistence in our daily community life, mostly for cleaning and in our big household (not for business activities).
  
  We offer:
  - community life with families (in the evenings it is usually quiet with us after 7 pm. "Evening program" is the exception rather than the rule).
  - food and lodging within our project in your own room
  - clear communication and guidance
  - with payment: use of the bio-sauna and our various (trauma) therapeutic offers
  
  
  You offer:
  - 5 hours of help per day, five days a week in the activities we instruct you to perform
  - Ability to independently handle household tasks (cleaning, cooking, gardening - depending on the season).
  - Reliability and open communication
  - important: 2 weeks stay is the minimum time to give you the opportunity to land in the community. Short visits are very challenging especially for our younger community members and are therefore warmly rejected.

  Wir sind offen für freiwillige Unterstützer:innen im März und April 2025. Hast du Lust, mit uns im Garten zu arbeiten, beim Wände streichen und anderen handwerklichen Arbeiten oder beim Kochen mitzuwirken, im Haushalt mitanzupacken oder auch mal bei einer Räumungsaktion mitzuhelfen? Wir freuen uns auf deine Anfrage. Mindestaufenthaltsdauer sind 2 Wochen (vorzugsweise 4 Wochen).
  
  Wir sind eine junge Gemeinschaft mit zehn Erwachsenen und neun Kindern, die seit Juli 2022 das ehemalige Seminarzentrum im Emmental in der Schweiz beleben. Hier entsteht Schritt für Schritt ein holistisches, regeneratives Feld der friedlichen kulturellen Transformation. Dies leben wir durch unsere Bildungsoase, unser Gesundheits- und Heilungsbiotop, Permakultur-Landschaftsgestaltung und gemeinschaftliches Wohnen. Wir wünschen uns deine Mithilfe im grossen Haushalt unserer Gemeinschaft (im "privaten" Bereich).
  
  Wir bieten dir:
  - gemeinschaftliches Leben mit Familien (abends wird es bei uns meistens ab 19 Uhr ruhig. "Abendprogramm" ist eher die Ausnahme als die Regel)
  - Kost und Logis innerhalb unseres Projekts im eigenen Zimmer
  - klare Kommunikation und Begleitung mit Patenschaft
  - gegen Bezahlung: Nutzung der Bio-Sauna und unserer verschiedener (Trauma-)therapeutischen Angebote
  
  Du bietest uns:
  - an fünf Tagen die Woche 5 Arbeitsstunden pro Tag in von uns angewiesenen Tätigkeiten im und ums Haus zu erledigen
  - Fähigkeit, selbständig Arbeiten im Haushalt auszuführen (Putzen, Kochen, Gartenarbeit - je nach Saison)
  - Zuverlässigkeit und offene Kommunikation
  - wichtig: 2 Wochen Aufenthalt sind die Mindestdauer, damit du in der Gemeinschaft landen kannst. Kurzbesuche fordern vor allem unsere jüngeren Gemeinschaftsmitglieder sehr heraus und werden deshalb herzlich abgelehnt.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  You will get to know life in a community and take part in our common activities. Outside of your flexible helping hours you can enjoy the nearby forest, the beautiful view of the Bernese Alps, excursions to nearby rivers and being on our place.
  As a community with nine children, there is often something going on. At the same time, growing up securely in a large group also requires a certain protection in relation to constantly changing "strangers". To what extent you can immerse yourself in our community depends very much on mutual sympathy.
  
  Du lernst das Leben in einer Gemeinschaft kennen und nimmst Teil an unseren gemeinsamen Aktivitäten. Ausserhalb deiner flexibel gestalteten Arbeitszeit kannst du den nahen Wald, die schöne Aussicht auf die Berner Alpen, Ausflüge zu nahegelegenen Flüssen und das entspannte Sein auf unserem Platz geniessen.
  Als Gemeinschaft mit neun Kindern ist oft etwas los. Gleichzeitig benötigt das geborgene Aufwachsen in einer grossen Gruppe auch einen gewissen Schutz in Bezug auf ständig wechselnde "Fremde". Inwiefern du in unsere Gemeinschaft eintauchen kannst, hängt sehr von der gegenseitigen Sympathie ab.

  Your fields of tasks include helping in the household (cooking, washing dishes, cleaning, washing), helping in the garden (watering, weeding, maintaining) and depending on your other skills also other fields.
  
  Deine Arbeitsfelder beinhalten Mithilfe im Haushalt (kochen, abwaschen, putzen, waschen), Mithilfe im Garten (giessen, jäten, pflegen) und je nach deinen weiteren Kompetenzen auch andere Felder.

  Accommodation

  We offer you your own room in one of our beautiful garden cottages with shared bathroom and use of the communal kitchen. We eat a vegetarian diet, mainly vegan.
  
  Wir bieten dir ein eigenes Zimmer in einem unserer schönen Gartenhäuschen mit geteiltem Badezimmer und Nutzung der Gemeinschaftsküche. Wir ernähren uns vegetarisch, vorwiegend vegan.

  Our place is 3 kilometers from the nearest village with grocery store and train station - a leisurely walk over the hills of the Emmental or a short cycling distance (we can provide you with a bike here). To Berne the train journey from Lützelflüh takes 40 minutes.
  
  Unser Platz ist 3 Kilometer vom nächsten Dort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Bahnhof entfernt – ein gemütlicher Spaziergang über die sanften Hügel des Emmentals oder eine kurze Velodistanz (ein Velo können wir dir hier zur Verfügung stellen). Nach Bern dauert die Zugreise ab Lützelflüh 40 Minuten.
