  • Description

We have moved from the Uk to South of France in the foot hills of the Pyrenees.
Previously we had lived in London and Kent.
Suzanne worked in healthcare specialising in addictions.
Doug worked in mechanical and electrical services.
Together we have a Vintage/Brocante business that we have had for around ten years.

Once our children had left home we decided that we were due an adventure, and found a house that had an interesting past, the house was pretty close to being a ruin when we found it, no windows, leaking roofs, broken floors and vandalised.
So we bought it moved all of our belongings to France and set about renovating that was 18 months ago.

Now we have need of some help with finishing the house, mostly decorating some plastering repairing of some woodwork and tiling oh and designing our garden.

We have hosted a number of workaways from around the world and have loved learning about other people's lives.
Food and comfort are very important to us, you will have a nice room while you stay with us and we have 2 complete bath and shower rooms with another currently in progress.
Though we only really speak English we are learning French and can mudle through with a little Spanish and Italian.

We have a dog she is very quite and loves people staying with us.

we would love some help in All areas in the house, we hope to share all our experience and skills

Currently we are preparing and decorating rooms, planning and planting a vegetable garden, renovating windows and shutters, restoring the beautiful balcony area.
Tasks may change as the work evolves but these are some of our current projects to give you a flavour of what we are doing.
