Description
We are a crew from Germany who bought a pice of land with a house to use as a communal „holiday space“! It’s a simple 2-bedroom house with a living room, kitchen, composting toilet and solar power and wifi on 2,5 hectars of olive terrasses. The only thing that’s limited is water because we don’t have our own source and rely on our cisterna that we have to fill regularly. We are a little remote, but only 5 minutes by car to Xerta, a small village with a bar, supermarket and nice river.
During the summer (mid-June until September), we try to keep the place occupied with our crew and friends (staying in the house or tents / campers) so nothing is stolen, especially the solar panels... and the plants get watered once in a while.
Nevertheless, we would love to find a trustful person as a house-sitter, who would like to live here (in the house or on the land) for a few weeks or months during the summer in case there is gap in between the stays or so that everybody has the chance to go on multi-day trips once in a while.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
Your only task would be to live here and keep the place occupied, so nothing is stolen and water the plants once in a while, that's all! :) You would be responsible for your own grocery shopping, but basic things like oil or spices are available at the house. Please only apply if that's doable for you and you can reliably stay here for at least two weeks.
You can have a bedroom in the house or stay in your tent / camper and there will be friends staying here as well most of the time, but you might have the place for yourself at times too. Some crew friends are planning to continue with little renovation projects in the house and garden, so you're welcome to join if you like, but you can also work on your own things or just chill :)Languages spoken

We have two bedrooms available or you can put your camper or tent up on the olive terrasses
What else ...
As we are a little remote, it would be good if you have a car to get around (or a bike at least).
The area here is great if you like hiking, climbing, biking, swimming in the river or canal or if you need a place for remote work, relaxing, yoga and just a peaceful time!
Our friend Jess is living close by and could welcome you when your arrive, and we also have a chat group where you can ask everything if you have any questions while you are here.A little more information
