Stayed with Kerry and Richard back in January, and it was an amazing first experience in New Zealand. Both were great company and taught me a lot about New Zealand's horse community, agricultural sector, and everyday NZ living. I could not say enough good things about Kerry as she was extremely lovely, easy-going, and patient. Work was fairly

Lovely to have Megan here. Good house and horse skills and very easy to have around.

Excellent horse person and good company. Capable and independent with all tasks domestic and equine. We will be glad to see her back again later in the year.

Lovely young woman who fitted in perfectly here. We left her to house sit and care for 7 horses 2 cats and a dog. We were happy to allow her to drive our car so she could get around to see the sites!

I spent a wonderful 3-4 weeks with Kerry and Richard. They'd just had a last-minute cancellation and I was looking for a place last minute after my van was stolen, and I'm ecstatic we found each other. They were always extremely helpful and I had a wonderful time. My tasks included riding, fence management, feeding, the smallest amount of mucking,
… read more and I did my best to help in non-horse related tasks also (cooking, lawn mowing, etc...). Kerry's horses were wonderful and I was extremely lucky not only to accompany them to an endurance competition, but also to ride in the 40km RTT ! What wonderful memories. I will definitely look into endurance riding when I go back home, and I definitely will have to come back to Kerry and Richard's before I leave ! Thank you so much and see you soon 😁Left by host for Workawayer (Maxime )
Max is amazing man with fantastic organising skills and turned a large chaos in our outside room into tidyness. Wish we could have had him longer but I am hopeful he will return! Absolute asset to have around!

Kerry and Richard are the most wonderful hosts. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel completely at home. Their animals are absolutely delightful, and the horses are exceptionally well-trained, making them a joy to care for and ride. They also understand that you’ll want time to explore the area, which makes the experience even more
