Description
I am a 35 year old software developer working from home.
In 2021 I bought the old house I now live in and since I have been continually fixing it up.
About the location:
The house in the Transylvania region of Romania.
The name of the village is Bicalatu in Romanian and Magyarbikal in Hungarian.
It is a very quiet small village with a forest (no bears) next to it, perfect for walks in nature.
3 km from the village in Huedin, a small city/town where all international trains stop. Huedin has some services available including a hospital.
50 km away is Cluj Napoca, , the second largest city in Romaina. There is very good train connection and it takes the train 1h to get to Cluj. So the location is 3km walk and 50km train ride away from a mayor city.
The WiFi is super fast at the location.

There are a lot of opportunities to learn about the region and the local cultures. The are is not famous but we have a stable flow of tourists every year.
