MARKETING/PHOTOGRAPHER VOLUNTEER
2023 | January 1 - May 1
• We really need a marketing specialist / social media manager / photographer
We're bouncing back from the covid situation and have many adult students at the school experiencing Costa Rican culture through Spanish, cooking, and dance classes! :) But we're really behind on capturing those experiences visually and need help with daily posts to social media.
If you are professional experienced, we are looking for someone who can create email marketing and social media campaigns and can track data from those campaigns. Our Program Director has significant experience in Google Analytics and Facebook Marketing but is often too busy to design a proper campaign and make tweaks to it where necessary. We know there are digital nomads out there that know this digital marketing world in and out! Please help us! :)
A background in SEO and/or Google Adwords is a huge plus. Facebook/instagram marketing a huger plus. Really, if you are a social media fan, we're open to meeting you and hearing more about your experience in the area!
TEEN SPANISH CAMP LEADER
2023 | June 1st – August 31st
We are looking for an experienced camp counselor / director to help us run our Teen Spanish Summer Camp! Camp’s are 2-week jam packed programs that place students in homestays (local Costa Rican family homes) and Spanish classes and take students out on daily field trips to animal rescue centers, city museums, local food markets, rainforests, beaches, and volcanos. It’s open to 13-17 year olds many of which have never left their home country before.
The TEEN SPANISH CAMP LEADER role includes planning afternoon activities, acting as a bridge between students and school staff, helping to communicate with campers basic camp rules, organizing the daily camp lunch, updating the daily itinerary, and playing a shoulder to cry on for those students who feel homesick or have a personal issue they need to express. Roles also include the occasional Whatsapp communication with parents as well as taking lot of photos for sharing during the camp with both campers, staff, and parents.
Experience with teenagers or youth programs is a must, and a fun-loving and positive attitude is essential! Please message us with "pura vida" in your message so we know you've read the whole listing.
