    Description

Our finca is a familial eco project which the aim is to create a school of ancestral wisdom.
Our dream is to create a place where the visitors can connect with nature and themselves in order to live in harmony with their surrounding ecosystem.
We moved to this land in 2021 and we put all of our energy to develop a site where people can learn and experiment agroecology principles, holistic practices and alternative therapies.

Our land is located in a pretty and quiet rural area of locals, 700 meters of altitude and surrounded by a beautiful valley landscape with an access to a refreshing river and stunning waterfalls walking distance.
To give you an idea, our village Pacuarito is 20 mins driving from the city of Perez Zeledón and 45 mins from Dominical surf beach in the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The climate in this area is ideal as it’s sunny and hot during the day and cooler at night.

    About me :
My name is Carolina, I was born and raised in Costa Rica, I’m 28 years old and I will be your host.
I funded this project with one of my brothers who also live on site with his family and 3 other members who stay part time on the property.
I speak fluently in English because I traveled in the US and also worked for many years with people from all parts of the world.
I’ve been working in tourism for about 8 years, where I am hosting, organizing and facilitating retreats and ceremonies in Costa Rica.
I am also a certified permaculture designer and I have 5 years of experience working in different farms and being part of the local permaculture network.
I live on site in my self-build wood and bamboo cabin with my young dog Orion.

Our land is 23 acres, where we already build 3 houses and planted many fruit and wooden trees.

We would like to be able to welcome more people to support the creation process and enjoy the natural life style here so we are looking for people with experience in building who know how to work with wood, bamboo and other natural materials. Skills in electricity, water management and landscaping are also very welcomed.
