    Description

My name is Chris I'm twenty-seven years old. I am part of a family of seven, with my brothers and sisters aged between twenty-seven and thirty three.

The helpers are asked to help out about 5 hours per day, with two days off each week to chill or explore. The lake Lough Derg is nearby, and is a great place to go swimming/fishing. The food provided is mainly home-grown, and there is a shop five minutes from us. The town of Scarriff is a ten-minute walk away.

We have a small holding of 3 sheep, 2 cats ,1 dog 1 goat, 20 chickens and bees.
And a polytunel where we try and grow food for the house.
Help is welcome in the polytunel with planting harvesting and weeding aswell as maintaining the property and any tasks that come up especially renovation tasks as I always love to find new projects to enhance the property and make hidden jems.
All helpers must be able to speak some English, German or Dutch.

I've been a volunteer myself and loved it, and look forward to providing a similarly engaging experience for the volunteers on our farms.

If you are an energetic outgoing person who is up for anything then this place is perfect for you.

It's a young family which means their is always something fun to do like play soccer or drink a few beers around the bum-fire
