Description

As I have just finished my master’s in education (English as a foreign language and Physical Education), I am now taking some time to travel. I recently came back from a one-month trip to a few Caribbean islands and am now really looking forward to my trip to Ireland (starting at the end of April).
Through my studies and various holiday jobs, I have gained solid experience working with children and adolescents. I have been working as a ski instructor for the past 10 seasons and as a supervisor in a sports camp for the past 6 summer holidays. Since I have only recently registered on Workaway, I do not yet have references on the platform, but I would be happy to provide references from named holiday jobs.
I am also interested in gardening and general maintenance. During COVID, I started growing some small vegetables myself, even from seeds, which I really enjoyed - but only just a few of them in our little garden/balcony. I would love to learn more and gain experience.
I also really enjoy being around animals. At home, we have a family dog and a cat, and a few years ago, we also kept hens. I am, therefore, used to caring for animals and would be very happy to help with any related tasks.
In general, I would describe myself as open-minded, reliable, and flexible. I enjoy trying new things, adapting to new environments, and contributing wherever help is needed.
