Help with maintenance on a community garden, orchard and therapy center in East Clare, Ireland.

Hi, My name is Donogh and I have one son aged 23, I also have an extended family living in Wicklow,Cork,Kerry and Kilkenny.
I have studied psychotherapy and trained in Holotropic Breathwork and Shamanic Councelling. I'm interested in mythology, philosophy, anthropology and consciousness exploration.
The centre is a not for profit, private residence situated on the East Clare Way trail,1 mile from the village of Scarriff by the shores of Lough Derg. It is being built as a residential therapy retreat and permacultural research facility. The second phase of the main house/centre has been completed with two guest rooms available. Some carpeting/flooring and final touch ups remain.

Their are a variety of benefits and skills to be learned here and in the local community. Woodworking, painting and decorating, interior design, cooking, landscaping, permaculture, seedsaving, organic farming, beekeeping, fishing, sailing and a variety of different therapeutic practices. Having a good level of English above basic would make it easier of coarse and enable you to learn a lot faster.

Looking for help in carpentry with the house and to finish interior fittings. Also skilled gardeners would be of great benifit at the moment too. I am on the final phase of the center now which ìnvolves painting, finishing a bathroom/sauna, flooring hallway, bedrooms and snags list to make the place look more homely. There is also plenty of maintenance needed on a two hectare Apple and Soft Fruit Orchard and a garden around the centre to finish designing and commence planted. All in all a wide variety of help needed to be done so plenty of choices for what suits you best.

I have some French and Spanish. Unfortunately, it's not good enough for workawayers with no English but I'm happy to have anyone with Intermediate English and above.

There is lots to do here in your spare time, beautiful ancient woodlands beside the Steiner school. Endless hillwalking with stunning scenary up behind the house overlooking the lake and there are also loads of weekend coarses at irishseedsavers.org all year round located just two miles from here.
I love to go sailing and canoeing out on the lake to watch the Sea Eagles hunting or spend an afternoon on Holy Island.
There is also a bus service from Ennis town to Scarriff and I have a bicycle here and a spare car if you have a full drivers licence (pending insurance)
