Description
We are a warm and welcoming family of four living in Gojar, a charming village near the stunning city of Granada in southern Spain. Our family consists of a lively 12-year-old girl and an delightful 6-year-old boy. Ah, and a small dog. (The photos that appear on the profile are from a few years ago).
We own and run a small International Montessori school for children aged 3 to 12, and we're passionate about education and cultural exchange. We are looking for an English-speaking workawayer who loves children and is eager to share our home and daily life.
As our guest, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Granada, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and learn Spanish in a friendly environment. Whether exploring the historic Alhambra, strolling through the vibrant streets of the city, or simply relaxing in our cozy home, there's always something exciting to do.

Granada is a stunning place, with its architecture, tapas, vibrant culture, and friendly people. There’s an abundance of activities and sights to enjoy! You can reach Granada by car in just 10 to 15 minutes or by bus in about 30 minutes. Our village, Gojar, is also lovely, offering several scenic walking trails.
Additionally, if you're interested, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn about Montessori education. You can discover how we established and run our school, visit the school to observe the learning environment, and ask us anything you'd like to know. You're also welcome to attend any workshops for teachers and parents that might take place during your stay.

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic workawayer to help with light daily house tasks and, most importantly, to spend quality time playing with our children, reading and speaking English with them, helping them learn in a fun and engaging way.

Accommodation
You will have your own cozy bedroom, featuring a charming round window that overlooks the park. Our townhouse also offers access to a community swimming pool and a small, peaceful back patio, perfect for relaxing.
We follow a mainly plant-based diet but also enjoy meat and fish. If you have any specific dietary needs, we are more than happy to accommodate them. All food costs are covered by us.
What else ...
We highly recommend visiting the city center, the Alhambra, the Albaycín, and Sacromonte – all must-see attractions. On some weekends, we might take trips to the beach, the mountains, or other nearby destinations. You are more than welcome to join us on these adventures!
