  Our Hostel is a small family run business offering to travelers a real home away from home.
  You want to discover Mexico, improve your Spanish while having a fun yet useful time? This is possible!
  Come and make a new experience with us in Tulum!
  The beauty of Caribbean beaches, the clearness of its waters and Cenotes and the crazy Maya Jungle undoubtedly make of Tulum a must-see destination in Mexico. And we will welcome you with you comfy beds, a chill place surrounded by nature, delicious Mexican breakfasts (different every morning so that you get a taste of Mexico’s best kitchen), local advices to visit around, and the best memories of your trip in Mexico!
  In exchange, we just ask for 4 hours of your time in a day to help us with the reception, taking care of the hostel and help us put into place fun activities and eco-friendly actions to do arround the area.

  Staying in our hostel will allow to workawayers to learn or improve their Spanish and/or their English: they will meet new people from all around the world every day, they will need to exchange with them and they will make some new friends! We also offer Spanish classes for the workawayers who would arrive without speaking Spanish, because it is our working language.
  As we love to share the Mexican culture with travelers, Teresa, who also prepares the breakfast, offers cooking classes to discover the Mexican food culture.
  Staying in Tulum will allow workawayers to discover this very rich part of Mexico, with its nature, jungle, cenotes, etc. But also with its own very special Mayan culture, ruins, history and language!

  Help

  The help required depends of the season and can cover a wide range of skills: We always need help for the basic hostel work: reception, cleaning, tending beds, etc. Internet and marketing skills would also be appreciated, in order to help us out with the communication aspect through fb, Instagram, etc. Sometimes we need persons for repairing and re-accommodating the hostel, which includes painting, deep cleaning, working with wood and other natural/recycled materials, manual works, etc. Last, but not least, we are nature lovers and we do our best to create an eco-friendly offer. Therefore, we need help and initiatives to put into place fun and 'green' activities!

  Accommodation

  You will sleep in one of our dorm, with the other helpers staying at the place. The dorms includes 8 beds, each bed has its own lamp, small vans, electric plugs, and privacy curtains. Lockers and bathroom are inside the dorm, and the kitchen is shared and open to evry one. Breakfast is included, the rest of the meals are often shared all together (especially in low season when we have time to cook!).
