    Description

Hello Workawayers, we run a small scale organic farm in the countryside of southern part in Korea. After having to live as a busy city-dweller, we began farming in the countryside, aspiring for a happier life. We practice Korean traditional organic farming, which is high-mix low-volume production. Also, We deal and communicate directly with the consumers. We started organic farming in 2005.

Organic farming is a very valuable thing to protect the environment. But farming is quite tough physically. You have to touch the soil, shovel, and do hard physical work. Volunteer work would not be easy.

However, We're also always making balance between work, play, and relax time. the joy of working in such a beautiful scenery and clean air is worth everything. During winter we often travel abroad like you, so we'd love to share stories as a travelers as well

The help depends on which season you come...(below)

SPRING: Add compost to the field, weeding, seeding, harvesting wild vegetables,
making tea, planting potatoes, Chinese cabbage, harvesting broccoli, etc.

SUMMER: Growing, harvesting, and packing tomato, potato, cabbage, garlic, lettuce, broccoli, herb, etc.

FALL: Making kimchi, Growing, harvesting, and packing peanut, sweet potato, corn, soy bean, cauliflower, egg plant, herbs, etc.

We want to meet not only those who are interested in Korea, but also volunteers who are interested in nature, organic farming and eco friendly living.

We don't accept smoker and digital nomad.

We accept volunteers from March 15th to November 15th. Winter is cold in Korea, so we can't do farming.
