  • Description

    Description

We live together surrounded with mountains near Andong, Korea, together with several dogs and a small garden.
For more than 10 years, this old rural home has been restored and cared for through continuous personal effort, creating a quiet space rooted in simplicity, mindfulness, and harmony with nature.
Daily life here is centered around vegan living, gardening, meditation, tea, conscious conversation, and caring for the land and animals surrounding this place.
Living here also means participating in the ongoing care of this home, the land, and the animals. This is a living space that requires daily attention, responsibility, and mutual participation.
Sincerity, maturity, responsibility, gratitude, and mutual respect are valued far more than skill or experience.
This place is best suited for people who genuinely wish to participate, contribute, learn, and share daily life together with awareness and sincerity and hard work.
It may not be suitable for those mainly seeking free accommodation, tourism, passive spiritual consumption, or the minimum possible involvement in shared responsibilities.
Because depth and balance are valued here, usually only one volunteer is welcomed at a time for a short stay, allowing for a quieter and more meaningful experience for everyone involved.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Here, volunteers learn to live sustainably and in harmony with the natural world,
to confront the ego fearlessly and without illusion, and to discover a deeper purpose beyond identity, status, or recognition.
They also learn how to honor and respect hosts
who have endured profound challenges in life, and through perseverance have cultivated their own path, abilities, and sanctuary. True kindness and openness should never be mistaken for the absence of wisdom, boundaries, or responsibility. True gratitude does not simply end when one’s time as a Workawayer is completed.
It continues through respect, sincerity, and the living connection carried forward beyond the stay.

🌟This is a place of mutual respect, awareness, and conscious living and deep and hard spritual work.

  • Help

    Help

⭐️We are looking only for individuals who are exceptionally rare ,those who carry innate inner skills of deep responsibility of life, clarity, and wisdom.
    This work requires:
    inner maturity rather than curiosity
    grounded presence rather than enthusiasm
lived understanding rather than belief or practice
If you recognize in yourself a quiet, proven depth
an ability to perceive, hold, and act with integrity without instruction or validation
then you may understand why this invitation is extended to so few.☀️

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

The Workawayer will have his/her own private bedroom. Single bed and all beddings are provided. There is a chair and a desk for writing. We live in a traditional Korean house in the countryside far away from the city. The bedroom is small, we share a single bathroom, and overall the house offers little privacy.

    About This Place ☀️

This place was restored over the course of more than 10 years through continuous dedication, physical labor, and sincere care.
When we first found it, it was an abandoned and neglected rural home that few people wanted to take responsibility for anymore.
While others saw only decay and difficulty, we saw quiet potential and the possibility for renewal.
Without outside support or financial backing, we slowly rebuilt and cared for this place ourselves over many years.
Every garden path, repaired space, tree, and peaceful corner reflects countless hours of effort, perseverance, and commitment.
In many ways, this place represents the deeper spirit of what we value:
to recognize worth where it has been forgotten,
to restore dignity where life has become disconnected,
and to create a space where people can reconnect with nature, simplicity, awareness, and all living beings.

This is not a commercial retreat or entertainment spritual based one time experience.
It is a simple and conscious way of living rooted in mutual respect, responsibility, mindfulness, and harmony with nature.

    What We Share Together ☀️

    • A simple and mindful way of living close to nature
    • Shared vegan meals prepared with care
    • Mostly organic ingredients from the garden and local surroundings when available
    • Tea, conversation, and moments of quiet presence
    • Peaceful accommodation in a natural rural environment
    • Opportunities to learn through daily life, awareness, responsibility, and mutual respect
    • Pickup from Andong station or terminal when arrival is before 16:00 (4 PM)

This is a space of shared participation rather than passive hosting. We value sincerity, maturity, gratitude, and consciousness and hard working.
We usually welcome only one volunteer at a time, and stays are generally limited to 7–14 days.
Please note that transportation here requires approximately a 2 hour round trip drive, and public transportation in the area is limited.
During your stay, we may occasionally share an outing together whether into nature, a cultural or spiritual place, a local event, or wherever the natural flow of the moment leads.

⭐️True gratitude does not simply end when one’s stay is completed.
It continues through respect, sincerity, and the living connection carried forward beyond this place.⭐️
