    Description

We are Rodolfo and Luisa, and for the past eight years, we've been living in Valparaíso, where we focused on construction and restoration projects. Now, we’ve relocated to the beautiful south of Chile to explore its stunning natural landscapes, and to be close to family. We’re currently building our home and a workshop in the rural area of Villarrica, and we’d love to invite you to join us in this new construction project.

Rodolfo is a good carpenter teacher, very patient and fluent in several languages. Luisa knows a lot about the local culture, its history and native roots. We also like to share with travelers if there are events in town, such as festivals or concerts.

    About Us
We are Rodolfo and Luisa. Rodolfo is an engineer who has discovered his creative side through construction, while Luisa, with a background in visual arts, is now dedicated to ceramics and runs a workshop from home.

    About the Place
Our project is located just 15 minutes from Villarrica, a vibrant city in the Araucanía Region. We are surrounded by breathtaking lakes, volcanoes, rivers, natural parks, and hot springs, making it a truly inspiring setting.

    What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who want to lend a hand with various construction tasks, including painting, sanding, lifting wooden boards, restoring, and tidying up. Depending on the weather, we also enjoy working in the garden or forest, cutting branches, or gathering firewood.

    What We Can Offer
In exchange for your help, we provide a comfortable room for rest and sleep, along with breakfast and lunch. Work hours are typically 4 to 5 hours a day. We love sharing insights about the rich culture of southern Chile—Luisa is knowledgeable about the region’s mushrooms, fruits, and native plants. If the mood strikes us, we also enjoy going out for some pizza and beer in the city for a fun evening!
