Hello!
My name is Nadja Ströbele, I am 44 years old and have been teaching French and geography at the Waldorf School for many years. I like working with children and young people of all ages and I also have led school exchanges and organised projects. But even the most dedicated teacher needs a break from time to time and so this year I am taking my long-awaited sabbatical year, during which I want to experience something different from everyday school life with all its beautiful but also exhausting aspects. My idea is to travel and help with some projects in nature, in the forest, in parks or with animals, to get to know new things and learn a different perspective on things.
I am active in sports, climb, hike, cycle and can ride a horse. I would love to help on a farm, in the garden, in agriculture or on a tree planting project for the rainforest.
I could also imagine helping out at a school and getting to know other teaching styles.

I am communicative, willing to learn, open and reliable.
I expect to gain lots of new impressions and meet interesting new people during my year off. I'm looking forward to your project!

I like learning languages and am interested in improving my English. I lack practice. The same goes for Spanish, which I used to be able to speak a little. I can teach French. German is my mother tongue.

When I was 20, I worked and lived in France as an au pair and looked after two three-year-old twins, including household chores, etc. I am a practical person, I could help with renovation, work in the garden, I like animals, I am creative, open and social.
