  Hi, we are Patrick and Kat. We are currently renovating a property close to downtown Montreal in a nice quiet and safe neighbourhood. The city is a cultural hub full of art, where there is always something fun to do no matter your budget. Montreal is an amazing destination if you are a foodie or if you enjoy cycling as we are situated along the canal and river, which offer safe car-free bike paths that stretch along beautiful blue waterways.
  
  Our home is located right by a metro (subway station) and city bike rentals, so you can access anywhere in the city easily.

  - We're a friendly bunch.
  - Enjoy a safe and quiet area close to downtown, the beach, cycling paths on the canal and river
  - Located next to the metro to access anywhere in Montreal easily
  - I'm a DIYer, I am learning about renovating as I go, humbly, I did do carpentry to some extent.
  - I can show you how to fix a bike.
  - I speak French and know a lot about Montreal, possibility to go out and show you around.
  - Home-cooked meals, possibility of serving you Polish food.

  Help

  Type of work: Renovations / House Improvements
  Includes tasks like painting, assistance with landscaping, assistance with removal/installation of cabinets, etc.
  
  Work would be adapted to your physical capacity, anything involving heavier lifting will be done in a secure way with the appropriate tools. We have ways to handle dust mitigation and masks are as well as safety glasses are always required. I will be offering guidance and assistance (lead by example).
  
  My philosophy is: "I am not afraid of dirt and hard work", a lot of what we see in the world is the end result, there is a lot of work involved in the background.

  Accommodation

  Accommodation:
  You will have your own private living area with private entrance on the upper floor, and we do not accept more than one guest unless you are a couple as there is one single bed. You will have a private full bathroom and a mini-fridge should you need additional meals. It is not a fully furnished/finished living area.
  
  Food provided:
  We eat two meals a day, you are welcome to eat with us, or on your own. Your kitchen will be stocked with snacks. Dietary requirements can be taken into account. I will say, if you are a strict vegan it could be harder for dinners, we don't eat a ton of meat, but it's frequently used in meals.

  What else ...

  - Really easy transit by metro (subway) or bus to/from the airport and generally connecting to all of Montreal.
  - We typically go to bed at 9-10pm, the room on your level has it's own entrance.
  - No smoking indoors. We don't expect guests coming over.
