1 HOSTEL: The theme is “Traveling Around the World”.
2 DREAMERS: We built the hostel with our own hands.
3 FLOORS: Each floor is designed to meet specific needs.
Come join us! You’ll find our hostel to be just a 3-5 minute walk from the Hualien train station. Our friendly staff is always there to help with local knowledge and help to organize your trip around Taroko, Hualien, and the rest of Taiwan!
Whether you’re looking for adventure, culture, or a calm environment to relax, we are here for you.
Our hostel has been created with our passion for traveling, so you can experience the world right here in Hualien.
Our lounge is cozy with a uniquely designed Taiwan-shaped table, and a daytime coffee shop and nighttime bar. During the day, locals come to interact and learn more about our global travelers. At night, the bar area is packed with travelers and their friends, all excited to share stories about their journeys.
Please see our photos below to have an overview! We hope that here you can make friends, share traveling experiences, and explore the city of Hualien.
We are always trying to give people a clean and comfortable place to stay, and we strive to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere so that each traveler can enjoy their time in Hualien.

Ideally, we’d like to have travelers who are honest, positive, responsible, enthusiastic, extroverted, and friendly.
Our volunteer program is for 3 hours a day, for 6 days a week.
We are especially looking for people skilled in drawing, painting, building, and blogging/article writing, mainly because we are currently creating a second hostel.
Your main responsibilities will include general housekeeping, cleaning, and chatting with fellow travelers (may vary depending on hostel). The duties are negotiable, so feel free to let us know if there is something you're especially interested in!
Taiwanese, English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, French, and Spanish
We have a mixed-dorm room, a female-only room, and two suite rooms for our guests.
You will stay in either the mixed-dorm room or a female-only room, with the opportunity to meet more guests/staff!
If you enjoy scenery/nature and you are interested in Taiwanese indigenous culture, Hualien is the perfect place for you.
You can climb mountains which are more than 3000m high and travel to the Pacific Ocean coast all in the same day.
During your time off, you can visit the world-famous Taroko Gorge. The entire east coast also boasts a vast, sparsely populated coastline of unparalleled beauty, as well as the east Taiwanese indigenous tribe. With an abundance of nature so close to the city, you will seldom be bored here in Hualien.
We provide free bicycles you can use so you can explore the city and coastline by yourself, with us, or with fellow travelers!
Our goal is for a traveler to be able to share traveling experiences and their culture with others from all over the whole world!

We hope you can stay here like a local, and understand more than what is said in traveling books. We are looking for people who can stay here for more than 14 days.
We can show you around the east side of Taiwan and help you explore the secret sides of this city! We can also provide a ton of information about traveling in Taiwan, as well as assist you in seeing all there is to see in Hualien.
If you are interested in Taiwanese or Mandarin, we can do language exchanges in our large common room. At the moment we are self-learning Japanese and Spanish online!
