Description
Hey! We are Martina and Jose and we are looking for fun travelers who want to share the experience of opening a new hostel in Cali, Colombia. After owning a Hostel for 5 years and having to sold it because of the Pandemic, we decide it was time to give it a go again, and here we are. Opening a bigger and better hostel! We want to show to the backpackers community the real experience in Cali, the salsa, the food, the people! and the best coffee in our inhouse coffeeshop! Come and help us make this hostel one of the best in Colombia!
Join our local staff and help us give the vibe that just you as a traveler can provide.
No cleaning duties will be asked during your stay with us. All your duties are gonna be in support for one of our local payee staff. Bar position is also not available for volunteers.

Cali is the Salsa Capital of the world, and of course, volunteering with us involves a lot of SALSA! You will get a free group salsa class every day, you can assist the salsa teachers in the private lessons (while you practice and learn for free) and you will get some discount on Salsa parties in Cali.
Help
We are looking for volunteers that help us to support our front desk staff:
Front desk volunteer tasks:
-Check-ins and check-outs
-Handling of bed sheets for check ins and check outs.
Also, if you have experience in painting, we will be happy to have your help in one of our walls!
But the most important is that we want you to help us bring a fun and relaxed vibe to the hostel!
Plus, get to be assistant dancer to the salsa teachers and receive free salsa classes!!
- No Bar position can be offered to volunteer.

Accommodation
You will sleep in the volunteer room, which have capacity for 6 and have a private toilet. Your bed is in a bunk bed and it has a personal fan, light and sockets. We do not currently accept couples/groups of travellers.
Our members of staff will give you an induction, a shift manual and training.
What else ...
On your free time you can be assistant of the salsa lessons of the guests, do your private classes(discount!) or can go to the tours the hostel have (free). Feel free to explore your talents with our hostel support for travelers, allowing you to sell deserts, food, events or whatever goes in your mind! Just let us know and we set up a way to make it possible.
Have in mind that we only accept solo travelers, we dont accept couples or groups of friends.
