Hey! I’m Franzi, 28, from Germany currently living in Canada. I’m an easygoing, curious person who loves meeting people, discovering new places, and diving into different cultures. I’m about to start a longer solo trip and thought Workaway would be the perfect way to experience places more deeply — not just as a traveler, but by really connecting with the people and daily life.
I’m always up for trying new things, happy to help out, and I like staying busy. Whether it’s working with my hands, chatting over coffee, or learning something totally new — I’m in! Can’t wait to see where this journey takes me and who I’ll meet along the way.

When it comes to skills — I guess you could say I’m a bit of an all-rounder! I’m a trained early childhood educator and have worked with kids from all over the world, including a month in a children’s home in Kenya. Those experiences really helped me grow, both professionally and personally. I’m patient, caring, and love creating a positive environment for others.

I’ve also worked in cafés and catering during my studies, so I’m no stranger to busy kitchens, teamwork, and keeping a smile on my face even when things get hectic. On top of that, I’m pretty active — I love skiing, hiking, and horseback riding, and I even have a diving license!

I’ve lived in both Australia and Canada and speak English confidently. I’m open-minded, respectful, and always happy to jump in and help where it’s needed — whether that’s working with people, doing household tasks, cleaning, or just keeping good vibes going. I’ve done all kinds of jobs in different places, and I really enjoy being part of a team and contributing to a great atmosphere.
