  • Description

We are a 14 room lodge with eco-tours and an organic garden and greenhouse in the stunning Bella Coola Valley, BC. The heart of the Great Bear Rainforest. We are family owned and have gotten so busy we can't keep up on our own and we live in such a small remote area . Bella Coola Valley is 450kms west of Williams Lake, BC on the Central Coast. We are surrounded by enormous, dramatic mountains and primeval temperate rainforest, which is home to our coastal grizzly and black bears (one of our prime tourism draws!). Water surrounds us in the form of creeks and rivers that pour off the hillsides and into the ocean a few kilometers from our door.

Looking for someone skilled in any aspect of tourism to help around lodge and in gardens. Could be- tending garden, weeding, lawn mowing, painting, help with minor maintenance & painting, help with housekeeping, helping with eco-tour logistics, shopping for supplies, etc. Benefit is living in one of the most remote and pristine wilderness areas of the world! We have LOTS of German tourists so someone who spoke German would be a huge asset.

If you enjoy the outdoors, this is a fantastic place to be. On your time off you can join us on one of our eco-trips or go mountain biking, hiking, climbing, kayaking (river or ocean), fishing (river or ocean), go out and catch crabs or prawns for dinner, do some yoga on a beach or in the forest, jam with local musicians (it is a very small, very friendly town), go see ancient petroglyphs or check out some First Nations culture. And much more!
