You will live on our small farm, surrounding by animals and a beautiful nature. Depending of the season and current projects, you will learn various things from building (greenhouses, garden beds, chicken pen, etc.), gardening (seeding, weeding, pruning, planting, picking, etc.), cleaning (cellar door, winery) to winemaking.

We are looking for like-minded helpers for a bio/eco food farming project, that want to know more about sustainable agriculture or bring some experience (permaculture, biodynamics, organics, etc.) and of course, are not afraid to get dirty hands. :)
The second position involves occasional babysitting with some help in and around the house (light cleaning, cooking...) as well as time on the farm.

Please note that due to the new government policy regarding volunteering, we are unfortunately not able to sign you off for the 2nd year visa.

    Accommodation

You will either live in our tidy and well equipped caravan with our lovely chickens as neighbours and others happy animals or with us in the house for the "babysitting" position. You will have to share the bathroom and organize your own meals if you are independent in the caravan but you will get fresh produce available in the garden. We welcome you as well if you have a camper van and are travelling around.

    What else ...

We are located in a amazing and peaceful place, very close to Hamelin Bay and the impressive Boranup Karri Forest, in the middle of picturesque vineyards and not far away from the Blackwood River. Of course, it's preferable to have your own vehicle to explore and enjoy the surroundings of the Margaret River region such as the Cape Leeuwin or the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and its famous caves, Redgate beach or Prevelly, etc. Plenty of activities are waiting for you like fishing, surfing, food, wine and beer tastings, kayaking, walking or biking on nature trails, cultural driving escapes, whale watching, swimming and snorkelling...
