Description
I am a professional photographer (British, resident in Italy 30 + years) living in a renovated farmhouse divided into two separate houses in the beautiful area of the Monferrato region which is part of a UNESCO site, in Piedmont. It is an eco project, powered by photovoltaic panels and wood-fired central-heating. It is on a hill, with a fantastic panoramic view, surrounded by woods and vineyards.

The area is wonderful for walking, running, cycling, horse-riding, photography, creative painting, meditation etc. The towns often have festivals, concerts etc from spring through to late autumn, the area is renowned for its wines and gastronomy- especially truffles! having recently become a UNESCO Heritage Site there is lots to explore around.
Help
I'm looking for help with the garden, about 1/4 hectres, which requires constant attention. There are flowerbeds to weed, vegetable garden to attend to, a wooded area to clear and wood to cut.
In the immediate term I need some help with redecorating, cleaning and sprucing up the older part of the house.
More long-term tasks include drystone walls to mend.
I could also do with some IT help with making another website, and other online activities, also scanning transparencies to digital and helping with my photo archive.
I am vegetarian. Meals are shared, but if you want to eat meat you can prepare it yourselves, no problem.Languages spoken

As mentioned in her workaway offer, Anne owns a large property and I was able to help her build a stone wall! The work could sometimes be difficult (heat, mosquitoes...) but it was a pleasure to see it progress day by day! I… read more

i miss so much staying with you and Balu in beautiful Grazzano.
I spent with Anne 2 months, gooing from autumn landscape, into snow and a very sunny winter!
My tasks were varied, from gardening, to vegetable patch, then into the bush and helping in cutting wood from the forest in the nearby.
Also in the house the… read more
