Gwen and I have been married for 7 years and we have two children, Barney (5) and Nora (3).
We love the outdoors, especially walking, cycling and holidays at the beach!
Gwen loves playing hockey for a local club and I love bike riding and exercising. Our kids love meeting new people, adventuring and an active lifestyle!
We are both experienced teachers at a high school in Leeds in the UK (we both teach geography) and we are taking a year away from our busy teaching jobs, to enjoy more of the 'real' world and learn about new cultures, foods and experiences with our children whilst we can.

We are keen to learn more about any ;language; spanish and italian or scandi languages. We also really want to help our children learn elements of other languages. We would be very keen to teach english where we can. As geography teachers in the UK, we'd also be very happy to show that knowledge too.

As high school teachers for many years we are strong, resilient, funny and keen to appreciate the world around us! We are really good communicators and kind to everyone.
We have renovated a house in the UK and are quite handy with decorating, gardening and odd jobs. I love cooking and cook with fresh raw ingredients every day but I would be very keen to learn how to cook foods like a local!
We have lots of experience of looking after children of all ages, from babies to teenagers, giving advice and helping them with work and learning.
