Description
Hi, I'm Julia, a seasoned workawayer living in a big beautiful house and managing a retreat and workshop space. I'm very laid back and love culture exchanges with people, so I'm happy to have some company. I'm an herbalist, a meditator, a musician, seamstress, gardener and chef. I love to sing and joke around, as well as have guests, as I like to take care of others. I appreciate those with a positive attitude about life and those that like to do artistic and musical projects, work with the land and natural materials, prepare quality food and have philosophical talks.
The space hosts sustainability workshops, creativity retreats and musical events. The house is newly renovated and beautiful, a very nice and comfortable place to live in. I am creating a landscape and medicinal garden with the fruit trees and fertile land.
If you are a creator, I would love you to help us spice up this peaceful portal!
The house is right on rolling hills, meadows and forest where you can walk and walk and enjoy beautiful views, birds chirping and harmonize with Mother Nature and appreciate the simplicity of the Bulgarian countryside way of life. I aim to create a safe space for those who need a break from the ever-increasingly confusing 'society', to create and express in a stress-free environment.
I like to have workawayers around for good company and to get projects done faster that are difficult to do by myself. I genuinely want volunteers to come here to share and enjoy the space for their own personal development, as well as add some of their essence to the projects here on the property, although I do appreciate strong workers who can help with manual labor.
I have a cat that sometimes may come to purr on you and give you love, if you would like.
I don't have WIFI here but the phone signal is good, and if you need the internet I can give you a hotspot. This is a great place to forget about the internet and the outside world. :)Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Volunteers can learn any of the skills that I have from 15 years of free life, traveling the world and managing properties. You can learn about herbal medicine, foraging, gardening, meditation, singing, cooking, and most of all, how to relax and enjoy the abundant artistic life. You can benefit if you are a creator and would like psychic and clean energetic space to explore your craft. This year we are hosting music events and workshops and volunteers can participate in the preparation of those, and take part in them as well. :)
Help
I am hosting residencies for artists and spiritual practitioners and prefer volunteers who can manage their own essentials and economy.
You are welcome to come here to explore your craft, live in a peaceful environment and utilize the materials and equipment that I have available, and I can provide the atmosphere to create.
The project is maintained with donations, so we try to keep a balanced economy, with everyone helping and offering what they can. Our exchange will be organized based on what you would like to share here, and if I currently need help when you would like to join. :)
Everyone keeps their own schedule. I usually wake up early and meditate for at least an hour in the morning, so mornings are usually quiet and relaxed.
I welcome those who love playing music and singing, telling jokes and living life as a theater, spiritual practitioners, chefs and artists of all kinds!
I have a lot of materials for creating beauty and art, so if you like to create with random materials, or sew, you are welcome to come create here. We have a workshop and a lot of recycled wood.
I would prefer volunteers who are good at taking care of themselves and being in their own energy, while able to respect the space and take pride in their own art, and in helping the property grow.
I love to share, laugh, forage for food and medicine in the wild, make music with others, do yoga and tai chi, meditate, relax and contemplate on the essences that give life meaning. :) This is a great place to participate in creative endeavors while being able to enjoy down time with the earth and appreciate nature.Languages

I am a native English speaker, enjoy practicing Spanish and Hungarian and am actively learning Bulgarian.Accommodation
Several private spaces for sleeping and two shared bathrooms. I keep a vegetarian diet. I usually only cook in the evenings. I go to town every Tuesday for the farmer's market and shopping at the local supermarket.
What else ...
There is abundant outside space for relaxing, an electric piano, 2 guitars, a handpan drum, as well as some other small instruments. Musicians welcome! There is also workshop space for private meditation or yoga sessions, or whatever activity you need quiet and privacy for. We have plenty of yoga mats.
I can pick you up by car in the nearby village which is about 12 minute drive, and a 30-minute bus from Burgas. It's a quiet life here, but if you are eager to explore, you can find a bus to the sea easily, and hitch hike around or find a bus to many beautiful and fun places. I am also new to exploring this area of Bulgaria, so you can come along as I slowly integrate into the community here. I also like to drive to beautiful nature places to sometimes have longer walks.A little more information
