    Description

Dear Workawayers, welcome to our Farm:
I’m Ha. I was born and raised in a poor village in the middle of central Vietnam and as a child, I dreamt that one day I could make a change within my village and help my local people to live better lives. After graduating from university in Vietnam, I spent more than 5 years living and studying abroad in places such as Israel, Singapore, and Denmark. I worked as an agricultural and tourism volunteer in more than 20 countries around the world and at the end of 2021, I returned to my village and started an organic farming and education project.

    The mission of this project:
    - Share cuisine, cultural practices, and language to create an environment for cultural exchange between international volunteers, Vietnamese interns, and the local Vietnamese community.
    - Offer the village children free access to English classes. This opportunity will enable them to learn a new language, gain insights into different cultural perspectives, challenge themselves beyond their comfort zones, build confidence, and develop skills that will allow them to contribute to their hometown.
    - Preserve traditional agricultural methods, practices, and values by inviting children to visit the farm for a day and experience what it’s like to be a farmer.
    - Share our knowledge of agriculture and agricultural tourism with the local community and demonstrate how these can help people escape poverty, sustainably.

My objective is not to profit from the people in the poor village but to provide them with opportunities and resources to improve their circumstances. For this reason, I work hard every day in Da Nang City to earn money, which I reinvest in the farm to continue supporting village children for free. At that time, Vietnamese volunteers Zem and Huyen who will assist me in managing the farm.
We are also building small projects, providing chargeable services to city children, and reinvesting the profits into maintaining and developing our project.

    4. Help decorate the farm to create a bright and colorful space for everyone to enjoy.
    5. Babysit my son when needed.
    6. Organize and oversee games on the farm. 😊
