We are two freelance Japanese women with dietetic skills!
Our personalities are optimistic and enjoy everything. We are curious and enthusiastic about our interests.
We will start our round-the-world trip in April 2025 to get to know the ‘food’ of the world!
I would like to learn more about the food culture and home cooking of the countries I visit!

About our interest in languages We can teach Japanese. We learn English online once a week, and We teach each other English and Japanese online once a month with our overseas friends. I can't use correct grammar, but I can listen and speak Japanese when it is difficult. I cannot use correct grammar, but when I have difficulty listening I can read sentences and use a smartphone. I would like to learn to speak about other languages of other countries. I would be happy to teach you.

私たちの拙い英語でも話を聞こうと耳を傾けてくれるだけでなく、いろいろな英語を教えてくれました。
また、私たちの1番の目的であった、台湾の食文化を知るという願いを叶えてくれました。
スティーブは阿里山のお茶についてはもちろん、いろんな伝統料理や地域の食文化を経験させてくれました。
また、彼はたくさんの友達がいて、彼らもとても親切でした。一緒に食事をするだけでなく彼らの輪の中に入って会話を楽しむこともできました。
作業中虫に刺されたり雨が降ったりとアクシデントもありましたが、彼はそれらに柔軟に対応してくれます。
特に交流や食に興味がある人はとても向いていると思います。
私達は初めてのワークアウェイでしたが、彼が最初のホストでとてもよかったと思っています。
Steve put our behaviour and feelings first.
Not only did he listen to our poor English, he also taught us a lot of English.
He also fulfilled our number one wish, which was to learn about Taiwanese food culture.
Steve gave us the opportunity to learn about tea in Alishan, as well as experience various traditional dishes and local food culture.
He also had many friends and they were very kind too. We not only ate together but also enjoyed conversation in their circle.
There were some accidents during the work, such as insect bites and rain, but he is very flexible in dealing with them.
We think it's a great fit, especially if you are interested in socialising and food.
It was our first workaway and we are very glad he was our first host.
When we got home, they prepared fruit and tea for us, so we could have a wonderful tea time.
Although we spoke poor English, they were flexible and we were able to spend a wonderful time.
We hope to see you again someday. Thank you so much.
