Description
Hi everyone! What motivates us the most is being in new environments where we're able to learn from the people around us. We've been able to travel a lot, and through working in different countries we've found that it's not only the experiences in the workplace that bring us happiness, but also the people we meet. We're both curious people and love learning about what life is like in different parts of the world. We love to stay active and be able to look back on a productive day and feel pride in what we have achieved.
We have previously volounteered in Vietnam (teaching and farmwork), Cambodia (pepper farm tour guides) and Thailand (hostel volounteers and DJing). We are coming back for more!!

More details about your skills
I (JULIEN) enjoy hard work. This has led to a casual background in landscaping and gardening. Furthermore in small building projects such as working with clay and cement to build things from walls to pizza ovens. I have an educational background in business studies with a particular interest in development. I am also lucky to have been able to learn 4 languages (French, English, Welsh and Spanish) and I'm on my way to learning my 5th (Danish)! With this, I am able to communicate with people from all over the world. People say that I'm a talented musician, but I think that's very subjective ;)
Cathrin: I have experience with farm work at a vineyard and love doing physical work and seeing the product of my labour. Have you ever heard about green wine? I can tell you more about it. I have a background in nursing and caretaking. Furthermore, I have experience as working with kids in both childcare and education. Danish is my native language and I'm fluent in English. I also speak basic Norweigan.
We both have years of experience in hospitality, working in Portugal and France. From the front of house work to chef jobs. Julien was recently the head of catering for a private winter chalet company.

We were able to meet so many great children (and some naughty but cute ones). We found the lessons to be challenging at first, as the day we arrived we were asked to teach the class without any help. If you are an experienced teacher this should be fine, though we found it rather… read more
