Description
I am Carole, organic market gardener installed for 8 years now. I benefit from the help of my family, my spouse Pascal, educator and also the occasional help of my parents, to produce a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, herbs, ..
The objective is to feed families in the sector with healthy and seasonal foods all year round in AMAP, retail sale from summer to winter, supply an association store, restaurants ...
We have created two apartments in the straw / timber frame building:
one for our family upstairs with our three children (18, 14 and 7) and the other to accommodate helpers and trainees on the ground floor. This allows us to eat with the field team at lunchtime and to have time available in the evening for our children. the helpers can also suddenly have special moments together to create beautiful friendships and good memories! in summer, accommodation can also be in a caravan or tent. In the flat, you can find 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, kitchen and living room with a cozy wood fire in winter. In summer a swimming pool is now ready for you.
We have three donkeys with whom we prepare the soil and weed the crops. a tractor maintains uncultivated areas.
We have 2000 m2 under greenhouse. The helpers say the work is quite varied.
We are located on a plot of three ha in a green landscape, facing south. It is a fairly touristy area with many leisure centers (3 km away), swimming pond, swimming pool with sauna and hammam, bowling and bar, dance party in summer, Ste Croix animal park ... etc ... Possibilities of ballad with our donkeys. bikes are also available for shopping in Sarrebourg if needed (4km) or for walks in nature. Table football, ping-pong and board games available.
It is also possible to learn the French language here.
If you have a nice dog with cats of the farm, you are welcome. we are looking for friends for our dog leonberg Raja. she is 2 years old.

Je suis Carole, maraichère bio installée depuis 8 ans maintenant. Je bénéficie de l'aide de ma famille, mon conjoint Pascal, éducateur et aussi l'aide occasionnelle de mes parents , pour produire une grande variété de fruits et légumes, aromates,..
L' objectif est de nourrir les familles du secteur avec des aliments sains et de saison toute l'année en AMAP, vente au détail de l'été à l'hiver, approvisionner un magasin associatif, des restaurants...
Nous avons créer deux appartements dans le bâtiment en paille /ossature bois :
un pour notre famille à l'étage avec nos trois enfants ( 18, 14 et 7 ans) et l'autre pour accueillir aides et stagiaires au rez de chaussée. Cela nous permet de manger avec l'équipe du champ les midis et d'avoir un temps disponible le soir pour nos enfants. les aides peuvent aussi du coup avoir des moments privilégiés ensemble pour créer de belles amitiés et de bon souvenirs ! en été l'hébergement peux aussi être en caravane ou tente. l'appartement comporte 1 salle de bains avec douche, des toilettes, une cuisine et un salon avec un sympathique feu de bois en hiver.
Nous avons trois ânes avec lesquels nous préparons le sol, et désherbons les cultures. un tracteur entretient les surfaces non cultivées. je teste aussi des techniques de non travail du sol.
Nous avons 2000 m2 sous serre. Les workawayers disent que le travail est assez varié.
Nous sommes situés sur un terrain de trois ha dans un paysage verdoyant, plein sud. C'est un secteur assez touristique avec les nombreuses bases de loisirs (à 3 km), étang de baignade, piscine avec sauna et hammam, bowling et bar, soirée dansante en été, parc animalier de ste croix... etc... Possibilités de ballade avec nos ânes. des vélos sont également à disposition pour faire des petites courses à Sarrebourg si besoin (4km) ou des ballades dans la nature. Baby foot et jeux de société à disposition.
Il est aussi possible d'apprendre la langue française ici.
si vous avez un chien (gentil avec les précieux chats chasseurs de la ferme), vous êtes les bienvenues pour que notre chienne Raja, un Leonberg ait de la compagnie.

Help
I need help with planting, planting, weeding and harvesting in the field. I also accept volunteers/farming and I ask 5 hours per working day from monday to friday.
for the construction, we need people for a good collective hand
j'ai besoin d'aide pour les semis, plantations, désherbage et récolte au champ. j’accueille aussi des volunteers et je demande 5h par jour de travail du lundi au vendredi.
Nous avons parfois du bricolage à faire pour la maison ou des aménagements.

Accommodation
we offer 3 rooms in the building , or a place in a caravan or camping car during the summer. One of the bedroom is collective, with several beds.
there is on site toilets, shower, and a living room, a very nice terrace for the summer.
the meals are vegetarian and I do it for lunch, with your help to prepare vegetables. for the evening, you prepare your meal with unsalable vegetables and cereals, dairy products....
Nous proposons trois chambres dans le bâtiment, ou une place dans une caravane ou un camping car en été. La troisième chambre est collective, avec plusieurs lits : soyez prêt à partager votre quotidien.
Il y a sur place cuisine, frigo et toilettes . douche, salon et une belle terrasse en été.
les repas sont végétariens et je m'en occupe pour le midi, avec votre aide pour éplucher les légumes. pour le soir, vous vous préparez un repas avec les légumes invendables, les produits laitiers céréales et légumineuses bio .

A good feeling with the children is appreciated.
I prefer you arrive on monday and tuesday. not on thursday, because it's a day of harvest, market and stress !
If you have gardening gloves and pocket knife, it's very useful.
in winter, warm clothes (ski socks, pantyhose under jogging, big jacket, the top, lined boots!)
in summer, sunscreen and cap.
I provide sheets, blanket and pillow.

un bon feeling avec les enfants est apprécié.
Je préfère une arrivée le lundi et mardi. pas d'arrivée le jeudi (car jour de récolte, marché et stress ! )
Si vous avez des gants de jardinage et un couteau de poche, c'est très pratique !
en hiver des habits chaud (chaussettes de ski, collant sous jogging, grosse veste, le top, bottes fourrées !)
en été, crème solaire et casquette.
je fournis draps, couverture et oreiller.
