Hi everyone, I'm Johanna from Germany. I am currently studying architecture and hope to broaden my horizon by getting to know interesting people during my summer break. I have alway been interested in different ways of living, traditions and cuisine and was traveling with workaway for 6 months last year. Because I had so much fun and learned many valuable lessons/skills I want to continue this journey in the upcoming months.
I would describe myself as an open person, I like hearing peoples stories, sharing my own and spending meaningful time together. I like to make art, or music (I play the flute and like to bring it while traveling) as well as cooking.
I have had the opportunities to work in many different areas, so I have some experience in the fields of animal and childcare, basic houshold chores and some handy work and DIYing.

So far, I have spend time working as a cleaner, on "housewife duties" and a waiter/cook. At one workaway my tasks were taking care of cats, dogs and horses, weeding, keeping stables clean and doing some tasks around the ranch. At another, we were building a wall by smothering it with dirt and sealing the cracks in the hot moroccan sun.
Since I have 4 younger siblings it is only natural that I like children, especially since I moved out, I miss having them around and getting insights into their world. Furthermore I have always drawn and painted a lot so I really enjoy artistic tasks.
I also have my driver's license which is also valid in most foreign countries.
In general, am not afraid to get my hands dirty and have been told that I'm a fast learner. I am looking forward to picking up some new skills :)
