    Description

    1.5 acres bush in scenic reserve, with kiwi, weka, tui and other native birds, minutes away from beaches and the charming village of Russell. Your accommodation is a Tiny House with ecologically sensitive and green systems. If you'd like to spend some time in the Bay of Islands, would like your own place, do your own thing in exchange for a couple of hours work - let us know ;-)

    Multi cultural background and understanding. We immigrated 34 years ago and have been very involved within the community. We owned and run a restaurant for 10 years, and Peter has been a paramedic with the St John ambulance for 17 years. We offer local knowledge, advise etc.

    You will have your own Tiny House (Whare Iti) on the property, enjoying privacy, peaceful bush surroundings and impressive views. The TH has power (solar), hot water, kitchen, bathroom with shower and composting toilet and Wifi.

    The Tiny House has it's own kitchen, fridge and cooking facilities to give our guests freedom to follow their own meal plans and dietery requirements. The exchange we are offering is for accommodation only!

    Hiking, sailing, surfing, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, paragliding, golfing, horse riding and much more... we have some of the best restaurants and vineyards in the neighbourhood but when you stay in, you get to hear our own Kiwi and Wekka as well as other native birds. Because we live rurally we can only accept guest that have their own car/transport.
