Description
Come and live with our family in the heart of the Blue Mountains, NSW. You will be staying with myself and my partner, and our small baby, along with 2 cats and 7 chickens. We have a comfortable house with plenty of space in the mid mountains, with a lovely backyard, surrounded by trees, peace and quiet, and a myriad of native birds. The Blue Mountains is a World Heritage listed area with plenty of bush walking, waterfalls, and amazing views. It is perfect for nature lovers, and still close to Sydney (via car of train).

Come and stay in a stunning part of Australia, world renowned for its natural beauty. And enjoy living with a "typical" Australian-Dutch family, becoming part of our day to day life, including meals. I am Australian and my partner is Dutch, and our baby a mix of both. We love connecting with other people and nature, and look forward to meeting new people from around the world.

Help
When staying with us, we hope that you can help us with finishing painting the inside of our house, as well as gardening, including weeding, mulching, and maintaining the existing garden as well as planting out new areas. Possibly some basic help with caring for our little one, like playing with him while we do some housework. If you are interested in cooking, we would love to learn and experience your cuisine, as well as share ours with you.

I speak a small amount of Dutch with my partner (who is Dutch). Our baby will be bilingual. I would love to learn more Dutch, but we are also keen for our baby to meet and interact with people speaking other languages.Accommodation
You will have your own bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, as well as a bathroom downstairs for your use. Our bedroom is upstairs so we have plenty of space. We have an open plan living space and full kitchen, as well as ample outdoor areas.
We will make all meals available to you for your stay. This will likely be family breakfasts and dinners enjoyed together (if you choose!), and lunches may be more "prepare yourself" depending on activities in the day. We generally aim to eat a whole-foods nourishing diet including plenty of veggies, with some meat, and most meals home-cooked. We attempt to live a fairly low-tox lifestyle as much as we are able. What else ...
There is plenty of exploring to do in the local area in your free time, including bushwalking, canyoning, rock climbing, lakes for kayaking, as well as cafes, and restaurants to enjoy. There is a train station 1.5km from our house. We are a 2 hour train trip or 1.5 hours drive to Sydney CBD.
