Hello! My name is Sierra. Right now, I am looking to do workaways that will really let me get a glimpse into different ways of living around the world. I am specifically interested in farming and learning sustainable practices in that as well as just every day living. I am also, of course, always eager to meet new people and learn about new cultures!

More details about your skills
I am a fairly artistic person and enjoy any chance to use my hands. I have been working as a cake decorator for a year, using it to develop my skills in the kitchen and as a form of creating artwork. I enjoy any sort of home projects and diys, and through art classes, I have learned woodworking, welding, and sewing. Pretty much any craft you can think of, I've at least tried! While doing workaways before, I learned a lot about gardening, landscaping, caring for animals, farming fruits and nuts, cooking, etc. Otherwise, I believe some of my strongest skills are adaptability and enthusiasm.

What else ...
I am very interested in the relationship we have to food and consumption, including how we farm, what we buy, how this improves (or doesn't improve) our lives and how it all relates back to the Earth. I studied Economics, and though I am not sure how I want to use that yet, I believe there is so much for me to learn about my field in an indirect way through working with people on workaway who prioritize living a sustainable and mindful lifestyle. :)
