Description
I am currently traveling slowly through Asia experiencing local life and learning new skills through workaway. I have a masters degree in Art & Design and have worked as an interior designer, jewelry maker and at a previous workaway designed and printed a cookbook full of the hosts recipes. I have spent the last three years working at various farms and workaways from fruit and vegetable picking, working in a vineyard , learning about earthships and living in remote communities. I also have experience in gardening, natural building and mosaic.
I have both spent the last few years living off-grid in remote areas surrounded by all kinds of wildlife and am happy with simple living.
In my free time my interests are ceramics, cooking, hiking and drawing. I am easy going, trustworthy and happy to take instruction.

I had a wonderful time staying with Krishna and Laxmi, as soon as I arrived they were so welcoming and kind. Along with the other volunteers we all felt like a family, we did gardening, digging and Krishna took us on a walk to a temple and also into town to try delicious samosa and chai! We stayed at Nok's place for 3 weeks, it was great. It is very peaceful and beautiful with lots of plants, ducks and lovely dogs. Felix and Jan were perfect hosts, we had a wonderful couple of weeks!! The location was beautiful and the work was fair - we did different jobs that suited each of us individually. Felix was always clear at giving instructions and encouraging of what we had done. They let us use their scooter, took us to hot springs and were just really… read more

Sophieband Marco are a great couple. They are both handy people and have many skills. Sophie helped with the mosaic and done a fabulous job and Marco did a lot of different tasks including building some furniture, painting, building some raised beds. They are both easy going and always open to give a hand. Definetly recommended.

Sophie was great to have at our place. She’s inquisitive and thoughtful. She learned many new skills and was fun to work with her on projects. She took everything in stride and with a smile. She’s very creative and artistic as well. We had many laughs especially with her gorgeous accent. We recommend her!!

I had a wonderful experience at Mira and Krshna's, they are very kind, intresting and great teachers. I learned how to cob, practiced ceramics, made herbal medicine along with many other things. We had a wonderful experience at Penny and Steve's, they are very friendly and accommodating and gave us lots of useful information about the local area and places to visit. Sophie was just great. She and her friend, Gabriel, transformed the garden in 5 days from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan.
