More details about your skills
I have a wide array of skills and am always eager to learn more or different ways to do things!
Some life experience: I have lived off grid, helped family develop raw land, grew up gardening, have worked on farms, and am wildland firefighter certified.
Skills I have years of experience in:
- Working outdoors: organic gardening, farming, landscaping, plant care, mulching, weeding, composting, harvesting, driving 4wd, lifting heavy things, some building (tiny house), use of power tools.
- Kitchen work: food preservation, sourdough bread baking, cooking meals from scratch, herbalism, catering, focus on whole foods nutrition for health. Canning, fermenting, dehydrating.
- Care: nanny/au pair, petsitting, chickens, ducks, caregiving for the elderly. I have been a nanny starting at age 12, and have consistently been pet and housesitting on Rover in the states throughout college to the present.
- Other: event planning, coordination, and support, team management if needed, customer service. I volunteer regularly at ecstatic dance and have worked many festivals in different positions- from build team, waste reduction, box office, and volunteer coordination. I have coordinated many non profit fundraising events and educational talks.
Some of my other skills include organization, good and clear communication, and a positive attitude. No drama. I am always willing to learn something new, share what I do know, and contribute to the betterment of a place. -
