Hi! I'm Ruth, I'm 22 and I just finished my bachelor in psychology.
I have extensive experience travelling inbetween semesters and working, especially in the nordic countries. I'm using the year between my bachelor and master to continue travelling and working.
I love hiking, being outside and just enjoying nature, as well as taking care of and interacting with animals.
One thing I always do, no matter the weather, is swimming - especially in lakes, fjords and the ocean.

As I grew up in the countryside I love interacting with animals and don't mind working outdoors. Additionally I've worked with horses, dogs, chickens, cows, and sheep and would love to learn how to take care of more animals :)
I quite like taking care of kids, especially if they are older than 3 but can also babysit younger ones. Since my brother already has kids aged from a few months old to 8 years old I'm quite familiar with taking care of them. Furthermore, I lived with my sister for four months to help out after the birth of her daughter, thus I am also accustomed to younger kids.
Besides that I tutored highschoolers in math, english and german and spent some time at a primary school explaining simple computer science to kids each week.
I'm open to trying new things and expanding my skillset, because I love learning new things and always try my best to reliably finish tasks.

What else ...
I love spending time together in the evenings playing boardgames - my family "invented" their own version of a card game which I'd love to teach you or simply play the classics.
My longest passion is riding - I've been riding for about 16 years now, mostly focussed on dressage, but I also have some experience in western riding.
Throughout my life I've tried a lot of hobbies - currently I'm part of a classical choir and dance social dances, but I have also done gymnastics, gone kayaking and did athletics.
I'm always open to trying something new (especially water related).
